I would like to summarize a few of the highlights that support our BCE community when you register your student with Inspire Diagnostics.
Your student will have the opportunity to have a convenient weekly PCR Covid Test at school
This program will us to identify asymptomatic Covid cases, keeping our students safer
Students that take place in the testing program may have the ability to participate in the modified quarantine program and continue to attend school, even if there has been an exposure in their classroom
Students with a close exposure at school will automatically have access to PCR Covid testing two times a week until the 10 day exposure period ends.
You will no longer have the need to travel down to Santa Cruz and then wait for your student’s test results. The results of the PCR test should be available, and emailed directly to you, within 24 to 48 hours
In the case of a close exposure at school, you and your student will be able to continue your important work, without at-home quarantine.
Working with Inspire Diagnostics allows us more ability to be proactive and quickly respond to our student's health needs
Parents are able to opt out of weekly screenings, but opt into exposure only by emailing [email protected]. After you register, please send Ms Gafford an email stating you would opt your student out of the weekly screening, but keep them in the exposure only screenings. Be sure to include your student’s name, grade and teacher.
