Dear BCE Families,

 

Thank you ~ I want to start out by saying THANK YOU to our BCE Family.  Our BCE Bears come to school and are working hard every day to progress academically, remembering, or just learning, what a day in school looks and feels like, as well as practicing in new ways to play with friends.  Our BCE parents and guardians are getting their students to school on time, keeping them home when they are not well, and communicating with your teachers and the office so we are better able to support everyone.  You are supporting your classroom teacher and the whole BCE staff as we navigate through this new experience. You are forgiving and understanding about the hiccups along the way and support us as each new turn in the road comes. Finally, I want to thank our entire BCE staff.  They go above and beyond every single day for the students at BCE.  Our BCE Family team is a team that is focused on a single goal, our students, and doing our very best every day to support them.

 

Our BCE Family is better and stronger because of our work together, our respect for each other, and our common goal of supporting the growth of our students.  THANK YOU ALL!

 

No School Monday ~ Just a reminder that there will be no school on Monday as we recognize Labor Day.  Enjoy your three-day weekend!

School Pictures ~ School pictures will be taken on Tuesday September, 14th. You can order pictures before Picture Day on mylifetouch.com and using our school ID:  EVTJ9Z7GC

 

 

Students and Adults on Campus ~ Now that we are past our first two weeks at school, I want to send a quick reminder of our campus rules.  Students should not arrive on campus, unless they are enrolled at the YMCA, before 8:10am.   Students who will be getting breakfast can go straight to the Multi -Purpose Room after 7:50. There is no supervision on the playgrounds before 8:10 or after school.  Students should not be on the play structures without a staff member present.  TK & Kinder families, if you are picking up your student at the end of the day, please arrive on campus no more than 5 minutes before dismissal time. In order to limit exposure to our unvaccinated students, all adults are asked to limit their time on campus as much as possible. The play structures and fields are closed to play before 8:10 and after student dismissal. Thank you for your compliance and support as we work to keep our students safe.

BCE PARENTS CLUB EVENT & MEETING REMINDERS:

Welcome to the BCE Parents Club section of the weekly school e-newsletter! Here you will find important dates, upcoming events, and volunteer opportunities. We are looking forward to a year of fun, getting to know new family and friends, and of course FUNdraising!

HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED? If you only have a few minutes a month or hours, time during the week or on weekends, whatever your availability there is a volunteer opportunity for you!

First BCE Parents Club Meeting: Please join us for our first meeting on Thursday, September 9th at 6 PM Online. Join Us: https://tinyurl.com/44w5f2en  We will go over all the volunteer opportunities throughout the year. You are a member of the BCE Parents Club automatically. See you there! Please note our monthly calendar will go home in a welcome packet from BCE Parents Club in the next few weeks.

The BCE Learning Garden is seeking volunteers.
Each classroom has its own individual garden box. Eventually, we would like to have 1 or more volunteers, for each class, to bring small groups of children to educate and experience the joy of planting, caring for, and tasting our own school-grown food.

Currently, we are not working with classrooms. We will be focusing on cleaning up, repairing, planning, and preparing the garden for student activities. We will be forming a Garden Group. We appreciate new and previous volunteers! If you are interested in this flexible volunteer position, please reply to [email protected] You!

I WANT YOU to Volunteer for Art Masterpiece.
We need adult volunteers to lead each classroom through pre-planned Art Lessons once a month. All materials provided. Time commitment is roughly 3 hours a month, October - May. We need adult volunteers for each class to help with the yearbook. This is a great way to be involved, but you are able to work on it from home and on your own time. I will hold one or two meetings as we get started and a few towards the end of the year as we get close to printing the book. Queridas familias del BCE, 
 
Gracias ~ Quiero empezar diciendo GRACIAS a nuestra familia del BCE. Nuestros osos del BCE vienen a la escuela y están trabajando duro cada día para progresar académicamente, recordando, o simplemente aprendiendo, cómo se ve y se siente un día en la escuela, así como practicando en nuevas formas de jugar con los amigos.  Nuestros padres y tutores del BCE están llevando a sus alumnos a la escuela a tiempo, manteniéndolos en casa cuando no están bien, y comunicándose con sus profesores y la oficina para que podamos apoyar mejor a todos.  Apoyan a su profesor y a todo el personal del BCE en esta nueva experiencia. Son comprensivos con los contratiempos del camino y nos apoyan en cada nueva etapa. Por último, quiero dar las gracias a todo el personal del BCE.  Ellos van más allá cada día para los estudiantes del BCE.  Nuestro equipo de la familia BCE es un equipo que se centra en un solo objetivo, nuestros estudiantes, y hacer lo mejor cada día para apoyarlos.  Nuestra familia de BCE es mejor y más fuerte por nuestro trabajo juntos, nuestro respeto por cada uno, y nuestra meta común de apoyar el crecimiento de nuestros estudiantes.  ¡GRACIAS A TODOS!  
 
No hay escuela el lunes ~ Sólo un recordatorio de que no habrá escuela el lunes ya que reconocemos el Día del Trabajo. ¡Disfrute de su fin de semana de tres días!

Fotos Escolares ~ Las fotos escolares serán tomadas el martes 14 de septiembre. Usted puede ordenar fotos antes del día de la foto en mylifetouch.com y usando nuestra identificación de la escuela: EVTJ9Z7GC 
 
Estudiantes y adultos en el campus ~ Ahora que hemos pasado nuestras primeras dos semanas en la escuela, quiero enviar un recordatorio rápido de nuestras reglas del campus.  Los estudiantes no deben llegar al campus, a menos que estén inscritos en la YMCA, antes de las 8:10 am.   Los estudiantes que van a desayunar pueden ir directamente a la sala de usos múltiples después de las 7:50. No hay supervisión en los patios de recreo antes de las 8:10 o después de la escuela.  Los estudiantes no deben estar en las estructuras de juego sin la presencia de un miembro del personal.  Las familias de TK y Kinder, si van a recoger a su estudiante al final del día, por favor lleguen al campus no más de 5 minutos antes de la hora de salida. Para limitar la exposición a nuestros estudiantes no vacunados, se pide a todos los adultos que limiten su tiempo en el campus tanto como sea posible.
