Dear BCE Families,                                                                            

School Starts on Monday! ~ Although you’ve had conferences with your student’s teacher and been in communication, Monday is the official 1^st day of instruction! While this is a “unique” 1^st day of instruction, it’s 2020 and we are all getting used to “unique!” It feels good to be getting back to a more regular routine. One step at a time, one day at a time, we’ll do it together!

Attendance and Engagement ~ Throughout this year you will hear about the importance of attendance and engagement. It would be wonderful to have every student attend all their whole class and small group Zoom meetings, participate at a high level, and complete all their assignments daily.  However, we know with all that is going on in our community that may not be possible or look the same way for all of our students.  The key is going to be communication with your student’s teacher.  If there are challenges that are keeping your student from attending and participating in a way that best supports their progress, please talk to your student’s teacher. We are a team and we’ll work together to find a solution for each and every one of our BCE Bears!

  Materials Distribution ~ Thank you to the many staff members who made our Materials Distribution Days such a success!  The ordering, sorting, packing and distribution of supplies took a village.  If you were not able to pick up the bag of materials for your student, please come to the office between 9am and 3pm and we’ll be happy to get it for you.
